You will begin by getting to know Pedrita Parker’s work, both her commercial projects and her more personal work. In addition, you will know her trajectory and how she got into the world of illustration and discover some of his references. You will learn how to collect visual inspiration for your projects through moodboards. And she will also talk to you about her techniques when facing an enlightenment work. You will also know the keys to developing your personal brand, from communicating what you do to how and where to find customers, as well as the importance of social networking and how to deal professionally with your future clients. You will know the advantages and disadvantages of being your own boss and learn how to reconcile your creative activity with the management of other tasks that concern your profession. We will also highlight the need to create an audience through social networks and learn how to do it and more importantly, how to manage it. And finally, since Pedrita Parker designs for her own brand as well as for other customers, all the secrets of the self employment process will be explained, from the time you receive the order until you deliver the final work, including communication with the client.

Estefi Martinez is a thirty few year old woman from Málaga who began to mix her up on social networks with her illustrations and phrases with much love and little shame. Since then, she has consolidated as a casual and fun brand called Pedrita Parker, with original products ranging from stationery to baby textile or decoration, a wide range of products that the illustrator designs and markets from her studio in Malaga to the whole country. Her illustrations also star in the books ‘Esa cosa (extraña) llamada amor’ and ‘Tómatelo con Karma’ (Lumen, February and October 2015), and ‘No eres tú, soy yo, que me he dado cuenta de que eres lo peor’ (Lunwerg, May 2017). At the same time, she works for other brands and has collaborated with Movistar, Coca-Cola, Aquarius, La Caixa, AENA, IKEA, Beefeater, Zalando, Meetic or Mini.
